Steam Engine Train

Lincoln Train 250th: three days, one incredible experience

This Season Has Ended

About This Ride

Climb aboard for a rare one-hour journey through historic Gettysburg behind visiting Northern Central Railway steam locomotive No. 17. With only about 150 steam engines left in the country, this oil-fired locomotive brings back the look, sound and power of the early days of American railroading.

Feel the engine work, hear the whistle, and take in the sights and sounds of rail travel from another era. The Lincoln Train 250th commemorates President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and the nation’s America250 celebration.

This special train runs for three days only, November 19–21, 2026. Seats are limited, so reserve early.
